Good days can leave you exhausted. This is not because the day was bad. It is because the system was working hard the whole time, even while enjoying itself.
A walk in a busy market. A long conversation with a friend you love. An afternoon at a museum. All good. All also a lot of sensory and social input. Some systems take longer to process that input afterwards. The fatigue is part of how the system is regulating, not a failure of the day.
Plan recovery after good days too. Enjoyment can still take energy. Both can be true at once: it was lovely, and the body is tired.
