An original ADHD trait reflection tool for adults noticing attention, impulsivity, task initiation, and everyday executive function patterns. This is not ASRS and is not diagnostic.
ADHD Trait Reflection is an original NeuroType tool with 32 items across 8 areas. It is not ASRS, not validated, and not diagnostic.
The tool is grouped into eight reflection areas. Each area is short and focused. Together, they show how attention, task initiation, follow through, restlessness, impulsivity, emotional regulation, time perception, and working memory show up across everyday tasks.
Task initiation
Reflection around beginning tasks, moving from intention to action, and getting past the first step.
Planning and sequencing
Reflection around breaking tasks into steps, choosing an order, and knowing what comes next.
Working memory
Reflection around holding information in mind while doing something else.
Time awareness
Reflection around estimating time, noticing time passing, and matching plans to available time.
Environmental friction
Reflection around how the space, tools, and small interruptions around you shape whether tasks get going and keep going.
Attention switching
Reflection around moving attention between tasks, stopping one activity, and restarting another.
Emotional regulation during tasks
Reflection around avoidance, overwhelm, frustration, or emotional weight around tasks.
Follow through and completion
Reflection around finishing, revisiting, or maintaining tasks after the initial start.
This reflection takes about 10 to 14 minutes. Your answers stay in this browser. You can pause and continue later.
No account required. Not a diagnosis.
One item per screen, with optional notes, a progress bar, and resume support. You can stop at any time and pick up later in the same browser.
Read a short summary of the patterns your answers pointed toward, organised around everyday life.
Each area has a score bar and a reflection range, so you can see where your responses clustered.
Your result includes prompt questions and space to reflect. You can use it as a conversation starter with a qualified professional.
Every result page says what the tool can and cannot tell you. NeuroType is for self reflection, not clinical assessment.
Your result should be easy to read and useful to come back to. It describes patterns in your answers. It does not label you.
Each area shows a percentage and a reflection range. The ranges are provisional and describe patterns in your responses only. They are notes for reflection, not a label.
Results cannot confirm or rule out any condition. They are not a diagnosis, not ASRS, and not a substitute for assessment by a qualified professional.
